Marilyn A. (Sievert) Quinn

Marilyn A. (Sievert) Quinn, 88, of the Town of Perth, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 3, 2026.

Born in Amsterdam on May 31, 1938, Marilyn was the daughter of the late Walter Sievert and Matilda Pisarski. She grew up in Amsterdam, and graduated from Wilbur H. Lynch Senior High School Class of 1956. She worked for many years at Amsterdam Printing and Litho.

Marilyn was the beloved wife of the late James M. Quinn, who predeceased her in 2022, and mother-in-law to the late David A. Leonard.

Surviving Marilyn are her sons, Gary C. ( Bridget), Michael J. (Janet) and James P.( Sue), her daughter, Kelly Leonard , grandson, Aaron Leonard, sister, Roxanne Ryan, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Marilyn attended St. Mary’s Church in Amsterdam and was active with the Southside Bocce League and bowled for many years in numerous city leagues.

Marilyn’s greatest joy was spending time with her family.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Marilyn’s family on Tuesday, October 6, 2026 from 9:00 -11:00 am at Riley Mortuary, 110 Division St. A Funeral service will promptly begin at 11:00 am with Father Nate Resila presiding.
