Margaret "Deloress" Wallin

Margaret “Deloress” Wallin, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2026 at the age of 93 with family by her side.

Deloress was the beloved wife of William W. Wallin Sr, and a devoted mother to William W. “Bill” Wallin Jr (Christine), Robert E. Wallin, Diane L. Cocca (Anthony), Deloress L. “Choppsie” Wellman, and Debbie Wallin (Peter Scambler), grandmother of Billy Wallin, Nicole Wallin, Faith Wellman, Cory Viscosi, Bobby Wellman, Heather Walker, Erica Viscosi, Christopher Cocca, Adam Wallin, Mark Cocca, Ben Wallin and eleven great-grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her husband, William W. Wallin Sr., her son, William W. Wallin Jr. and her brother, Frederick Betz.

Born in Newport News, VA on May 18, 1933, Deloress was the daughter of August Best and Georgina Banks.

As a mother and grandmother, Deloress knew the importance of family and was always supportive and caring. She never missed an opportunity to be present at events of her children and grandchildren.

Deloress will be forever loved, deeply missed, and fondly remembered always.

In accordance with her wishes, there will be no services.

Deloress’ family wishes to express their deepest gratitude and appreciation to the dedicated nurses and staff of St. Mary’s Healthcare ICU.
