JoAnn B. Lince

JoAnn B. Lince, 75, passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2025.

JoAnn was born in Gloversville on February 8, 1950 to John and Gloria Ellithorpe Brockhum.

She graduated from Gloversville High School and went on to study Fulton-Montgomery Community College earning a degree in secretarial studies. She was employed by Swany, Johnstown, NY .

JoAnn belonged to the former VFW Post 2077 in Gloversville and enjoyed her television families of Days of Our Lives, Little House on the Prairie and WWE Wrestling. She loved her summers, fireworks, reading, traveling, puzzle books and especially her monthly trips to Sunny Nail Spa.

JoAnn was predeceased by her parents, her son, John Lince Sr. and step-daughter, Wendy Bouck and two sisters; Gloria Akey and Laura Lee. She is survived by her children; David J. Lince (Jack Haskell) of Gloversville, NY and Michele Lennon (Douglas) of Mayfield, NY, step-daughter, Wanda Gifford of Canajoharie, NY, grandchildren; John Lince Jr. (Leah) of Gloversville, NY. Katherine Lennon Ellis (Benjamin) of Norfolk, VA. Sarah Egnor (A.J.) of Richmondville, NY. DeAnne Lince of Schenectady, NY. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, cousins and her little fur baby child Nico.

A Celebration of JoAnn’s Life will be held on Sunday, August 24, 2025 between 1:00p.m and 4:00 p.m at Gloversville Moose Lodge # 351, 140 E. State St. Gloversville, NY 12078
