Dolores “Dee” Muselbeck, CSJA, R.N. 94 of Hagaman, NY passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 2, 2026 at home.
Born in Amsterdam, NY on June 13, 1931, she was the daughter of the late G. Lansing and H. Lillian (Edwards) Uhlinger.
Dee graduated from Saint Mary’s Institute in 1949, and St. Mary’s Hospital School of Nursing in 1952.
Dee started her Nursing Career in maternity at St. Mary’s Hospital. She also worked at the office of pediatrician Dr. Thomas Weyl. She spent 30 years as Discharge Planner at St. Mary’s Hospital.
After retiring, Dee volunteered at local schools through the PAY (Partners To Assist Youth) Program and at St. Mary’s Hospital.
Her husband, Roland H. Muselbeck whom she married on June 4, 1955, passed away December 24, 1960.
Dee was a parishioner and communicant of St. Stephen’s Church in Hagaman, NY., a longtime member of the Ladies of Charity of Montgomery County, a member of St. Mary’s Healthcare Auxiliary, past member of the Advisory Board for Office For Aging, and an Associate of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondolet for 30 years.
Dee is survived by her daughter Patricia “Patti” Muselbeck of Hagaman, NY, sister Carol Crannell of Pacific, MO, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her sister Lois Hegarty, brothers-in-law Roger Crannell and James Hegarty and nephew Timothy Crannell.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Dee’s family at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 from 4:00 pm to 5:45 pm at which time a Nightingale Tribute & Final Call to Duty ceremony will be conducted by the FulMont Nurses Honor Guard.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Stephen’s Church, 51 N. Pawling St, Hagaman, NY with Father Nathaniel Resila as celebrant.
Interment will follow at St. Stephen’s Cemetery.
