Dolores Blakely

Dolores Blakely, 91, of Amsterdam, passed away Tuesday, October 26, 2021.

Born October 31, 1929 in Amsterdam, she was the daughter of the late William and Eva Carmen Pitten.

Dolores attended Amsterdam schools. She worked for Eddy Brush Company and retired from Amsterdam Memorial Hospital as supervisor of housekeeping

She married William Blakely on April 30, 1955.

She is survived by her sons and daughter: Mark Blakely of Amsterdam; Brian Blakely (Tina) of Amsterdam; Michael (Darlene) Blakely of Palm City, FL; Patrick Blakely, NM; Barbara Morton of Hurt, VA; grandchildren: Sean Blakely (Corina), Stuart, FL; Michael Blakely (Barbara), San Antonio TX; Johnny Morton, Gloversville, NY; and Bryen Blakely , Lincoln, NB.

Dolores was predeceased by her husband, William and daughter, Bonnie.
