Cynthia “Cindy” Dietrick, 57 of Amsterdam, NY; passed away Tuesday afternoon November 20, 2018 at St. Mary’s Healthcare in Amsterdam.

Cindy’s beautiful and bubbling personality was incredible and unique. She exercised a giving heart to all, and her ability to put others first was always inspirational. A stunning women who was always optimistic, regardless of how the circumstances may have looked.

Born in Bay Shore Long Island, NY on August 6, 1961, she is the daughter of Lorraine Earl Cornier and the late Max Zwick.

Cindy received her education in the Schoharie Central School District and graduated from Schoharie High School.

She was last employed as a residential supervisor at Liberty ARC in Amsterdam, where she loved the opportunity to help those individuals who needed support.

Cindy was a former communicant of St. Stanislaus Church in Amsterdam.

Cindy is survived by her husband, James C. Dietrick Jr., of Amsterdam, her mother, Lorraine Cornier of Mariaville, NY; one son Brandon Dietrick (Sarah) of Lakeworth, FL; one brother, Al Zwick of Cobleskill, NY; three sisters, Kimberly Fortune of Ballston Spa, NY; Terri Zwick of Oppenheim, NY and Linda Gerreau of Summit, NY; two granddaughters, Giana and Taylor Dietrick and one grandson, Gabriel Dietrich all of Lakeworth, FL; and her mother-in-law, Jacqueline Dietrick of Boynton Beach, FL. Many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Cindy was also predeceased by a sister, Deborah Zwick and her father-in-law, James C. Dietrick Sr.

Cremation was held at Park View Crematorium in Schenectady, NY.

Following Cindy’s request, there will be no calling hours or funeral service.
