Catherine M. Banta

Catherine M. Banta, passed away Saturday, November 7, 2020 at River Ridge Living Center in Amsterdam, NY.

Born March 29, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Edna VanKleeck Banta.

She received her education from the Hagaman Grammar School and graduated from Wilbur H. Lynch High School in 1951.

She is survived by her son, Larry and his wife, Cheri. Also by granddaughter, Brittney and great granddaughter, Cassadee Joan, sister Nancy Fagan and special cousin, MJ Rubinski. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Catherine was predeceased by her brothers, Russell Banta in 1999, Clifford Banta in 2006 and brother-in-law, Robert Fagan in 2008.

There are no calling hours and funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
