Bruce Northrup

Bruce Northrup, 77, of Cambridge, NY passed away June 11, 2025 at home.

Born in Amsterdam , NY on September 30, 1947, he was the son of the late John and Clara Sagatis Northrup.

Bruce graduated from Wilbur H. Lynch Senior High School in 1965, Union College in 1969 and received his Masters Degree in English from the University of Washington.

Bruce was the owner of the Old Surfer Book Store in Cambridge

Bruce is survived by several cousins

A funeral home service  will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Riley Mortuary, 110 Division St., Amsterdam. Relatives and friends are invited to visit prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Fort Johnson. NY.
