Brian Mcconville

Brian J. McConville, 57, of Sloane Avenue, Amsterdam, NY, passed away Friday January 13, 2017 at home.

Born on September 9, 1959 in Gloversville, NY, he was the son of the late Charles J. and Catherine Crandall McConville.

Brian was a graduate of Perth Central School and received an Associate’s Degree from Fulton Montgomery Community College and his Bachelor in Business Arts Degree from SUNY at Oneonta.

Brian was formerly employed at Noteworthy Company in Amsterdam, NY.

He was a former parishioner of St. Joseph’s Church in Broadalbin, NY, and a former member of the Bigelow Weavers Club in Amsterdam.

Brian is survived by a brother, Terry McConville (Wendy) of Loudonville, NY, and a sister, Joan Teabout of Amsterdam. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Brian was also predeceased by his brother, Kevin McConville.

A memorial gathering will be held Saturday morning January 21, 2017 from 11:00 - 12:00 noon at the Riley Mortuary, Inc., 110 Division Street, Amsterdam, NY 12010.

Interment will be at St Mary’s Cemetery, Fort Johnson, NY.
