Sylvie St Amour

Sylvie St. Amour, 62, of Ingersoll Road, Fultonville, NY, passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at St. Mary’s Healthcare in Amsterdam, NY.

Born on June 25, 1954 in Quebec, Canada, she is the daughter of Edgar Breault and Lucille Gaudreau.

Sylvie received her education in the Chicopee, MA school system from where she graduated.

Sylvie retired as a teacher’s aide from Fonda-Fultonville CSD in 2010.

Sylvie is survived by her parents, her husband, Leonard St. Amour, four daughters, Rena Caraway (Dowd) of Morganton, NC; Jane Bradley (Brian) of Nichols, NY; Julie St. Amour (Rory) of Johnstown, NY, and Joline St. Amour of Johnstown, four brothers, Jacques Breault (Linda), Bernard Breault (Christine), Paul Breault (Barbara) and Eric Breault (Josee) all of Quebec, Canada, two sisters, Elaine Breault (Luc) of Quebec, Canada and Marie Leadley (Craig) of Spring Valley, CA; two brothers in law, Raymond St. Amour (Darlene) of Scotia, NY and Bernard St. Amour (Chris) of Fort Hunter, NY; sister in law Judy St. Amour of Long Lake, NY, and seven grandchildren, Alexandria and Colton Caraway, Brooke, Jocelyn and Erica Bradley, Neo and Reese Baker.Many nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

A memorial gathering to celebrate Sylvie’s life will be held from 1 to 4 Saturday January 21, 2017 at Union Hall Inn, 2 Union Place, Johnstown, NY 12095.
