Sandra M Perillo

Sandra M. Perillo, 65, of Amsterdam, NY; passed away Tuesday evening March 20, 2018 at Wilkinson RHCF in Amsterdam.

Born in Amsterdam on August 16, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Alfred J. Szurek and is survived by her mother, Florence Malicki Penman of Tucson, AZ.

Sandie received her education at St. Stanislaus School and in the Amsterdam school system, graduating from Wilbur H. Lynch High School, Class of 1970. Sandra also received a certificate in secretarial studies from Fulton Montgomery Community College in Johnstown, NY.

She retired as an Executive Secretary from the Greater Amsterdam School District.

Sandie was a parishioner and communicant of St. Stanislaus Church in Amsterdam.

Sandie is also survived by her husband, Thomas F. Perillo Sr., whom she married June 23, 1974, one son, Thomas F. Perillo Jr. (Alicia Alvarez) of Ballston Spa, NY; one daughter, Natalie R. Perillo (Joe Gonzales) of Amsterdam, one brother, Roger D. Szurek (Sheila) of Watertown, NY; two grandchildren, Mia Lozier and Marco Gonzales, one niece, Sarah Szurek and one nephew, Danny Szurek. Brothers and sisters-in-law, Salvatore and Liz Perillo and Joseph and Diane Perillo also survive Sandy.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial, which will be celebrated Tuesday March 27, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Church, 50 Cornell Street, Amsterdam, with Fr. O. Robert DeMartinis officiating.
