Rose Marie Auriemma

Rose Marie Auriemma, 73, of Rosewood Street, Johnstown, NY, passed away Sunday, November 1, 2015 at St. Mary’s Healthcare in Amsterdam, NY.

Born in Amsterdam on February 7, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Jeanette Casagrandi Auriemma.

Rose Marie was a graduate of Wilbur H. Lynch High School in Amsterdam.

She was employed with the Day Care Treatment Program at Lexington Center in Johnstown, NY.

Rose Marie is survived by two sisters, Marion Bienick and Elizabeth Guadagno both of Amsterdam, NY. Nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Rose Marie was also predeceased by two brothers, Alfred and Peter Auriemma Jr., one sister, Antoinette Van Wie and one nephew. She will also be missed by her Lexington family.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 11:00 at the Riley Mortuary, Inc. 110 Division Street, Amsterdam, NY 12010.

Interment will follow at St. Michael’s Cemetery in Amsterdam.

Relatives and friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 prior to the service.
