Ronald T. Rusnica

Ronald T. Rusnica, 78 of Hollywood Road, Amsterdam, NY; passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at Albany Medical Center.

Born in Amsterdam, NY; on August 15, 1943, he was the son of the late Leo and Vera Elmy Rusnica.

Ron received his education in the Amsterdam school system and was a graduate of Wilbur H. Lynch Senior High School.

He retired as a supervisor from the Amsterdam Department of Public Works.

Ron enjoyed antique automobiles and going to garage sales.

Ron was predeceased by his wife, Yvonne Yatch Rusnica on August 16, 2016. He is survived by three daughters, Kathleen Helbing (Scott) of Murrieta, CA; Cindy Hitchcock (Ron) of Tribes Hill, NY; and Beth Stocker (Mike Bernson) of Broadalbin, NY; two sons, Jeffrey Wolfe of Amsterdam, NY; and Thomas Wolfe and his companion, Kim of Waterford, NY; ten grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to call Saturday morning from 9:00 to 11:00 at the Riley Mortuary, Inc., 110 Division Street, Amsterdam, NY 12010, where a funeral service, with Rev. O. Robert DeMartinis officiating,will be held at 10:00.

Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Amsterdam, NY.
