Maryann Ryba

MaryAnn Ryba, 75, of Stafford Springs, CT; passed away Monday, December 21, 2015 at Hartford Hospital in Hartford, CT.

Born in Amsterdam, NY on January 20, 1940, she was the daughter of Lester and Marion (Paiano) Tjaden.

MaryAnn was a 1958 graduate of St. Mary’s Institute in Amsterdam.

MaryAnn was employed as a Legal Secretary to Attorney Daniel T. Smith Esq., for 30 years until retiring in 2004.

MaryAnn is survived by her husband, Thomas C. Ryba to whom she married February 1, 1959, one son, Thomas D. Ryba and wife, Edie of Stafford Springs, CT, and sister-in-law, Joan Hage of Amsterdam, NY.

MaryAnn was also predeceased by her sister-in-law, Arlene Ryba and her nephew, Wayne Hage.

A memorial service, with Deacon Michael Ryba officiating will be held Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Riley Mortuary, Inc., 110 Division Street, Amsterdam, NY 12010.

Friend may call at the Riley Mortuary from 9:00 to 11:00 prior to the service.
