Marcia A. Mcswain

Marcia A. McSwain, 78, of Getman Road, Fonda, NY; passed away Thursday October 31, 2019 at Nathan Littauer Hospital and Nursing Facility.

Born in Richmond Hills, Queens, NY; on March 20, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Anna Rose Drosihn Neu.

Marcia received her education and graduated from within the New York City school system.

She was employed as a clerical worker for the Village of Patchogue, Long Island, NY.

Marcia was a member of the Life Christian Church in Johnstown. She loved traveling and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Marcia is survived by her husband, Dale W. McSwain who she married December 26, 1959, one son, Edward McSwain (Judy) of Amsterdam, NY; three daughters, Lori A. Mayo (Jim) of Amsterdam, Christina Lombino (Kevin) of Wallingford, CT; and Virginia McSwain (Patrick Wallace) of Ruther Glen, VA; four grandchildren, Kristen Gonzalez of Amsterdam, Justin Mayo (Jennifer) of Crestview, FL; Eddie McSwain of W. Virginia and Katie Lambino of Wallingford, CT; several great grandchildren and her brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Carol Neu of NJ.

Cremation took place at Park View Crematory in Schenectady, NY.

A memorial celebration of life will take place at 7 p.m. Tuesday November 5, 2019 at the Riley Mortuary, Inc., 110 Division Street, Amsterdam, NY 12010.

Relatives and friends are invited to call from 4 To 7 p.m. prior to the service.
