Lillian M Schwenke

Lillian M. Schwenke, 102, formerly of Amsterdam, NY; passed away Saturday March 17, 2018 at The Meadows of Leicester in Leicester, MA.

Born June 16, 1915 in Naugatuck, CT; she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Adams Shunskis.

Lillian received her education in the Amsterdam school system.

For many years, Lillian was employed at the YMCA in Amsterdam in many capacities, mainly as a swimming instructor and life guard.

She was predeceased by her husband, Horst in 1974.

Lillian is survived by her son, Clifford Schwenke (Paulette) of Poinciana, FL; two grandchildren, David Schwenke (Kirsten) and Anne Schwenke, three great grandchildren, Lily, Julie and Luke Schwenke.

Graveside services at Fairview Cemetery, will be private and at the convenience of the family.
