Kathleen Bradwell

Kathleen M. Bradwell, 68, of Brookside Avenue, Amsterdam, NY, passed away Sunday evening May 11, 2014 at St. Mary’s Healthcare in Amsterdam.

Born in Amsterdam, NY, she was the daughter of the late Thomas J and Ruth E. Richards Bradwell.

Kathy received her education and graduated from Wilbur H. Lynch High School in Amsterdam.

Kathy retired from Montgomery Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation in Amsterdam in 2000 as a Certified Nurse’s Aide.

Kathy was a member of the Amsterdam Lions Club.

She is survived by three daughters, Stacy Drew (Keith) of Albany, NY; Kimberly and Joy Teabout both of Amsterdam, three brothers, Lawrence Bradwell (Debi) of Amsterdam, Melvin Bradwell (Cathy) of Latham, NY, and Richard Bradwell (Ingrid) of White Plains, NY; four grandchildren, Adriane Teabout, Unique Shaw, Kaliah Hodnett and Kryston Drew. Many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Kathy was also predeceased by her sister, Mary Ellen Smith and two brothers, Thomas Bradwell and her infant brother, Raymond Bradwell.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 at the Riley Mortuary, Inc., 110 Division Street, Amsterdam, NY, 12010., with Pastor Siegfried Ignecia officiating.

Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Amsterdam.

Calling hours are Thursday from 4 to 7 at the Riley Mortuary.
