June L. Sajdak

June L. Sajdak, 89, of State Highway 30 So., Amsterdam, NY; passed away Thursday morning January 9, 2020 at River Ridge Living Center in Amsterdam.

Born in Amsterdam on December 27, 1930, she was the daughter of the late William Becker and Alice Phillips.
June received her education in the Amsterdam school system.

She retired from General Electric Company in Schenectady, NY; where she was a switchboard operator.

June was a member of the Calvary Reformed Church in Hagaman, NY. She was a wonderful wife and mother. She loved Polka Dancing, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

June is survived by her husband, Chester Sajdak who she married November 14, 1964, one son Gregory Moore of Glenville, NY; one daughter Jill Tatlock (Robert) of Amsterdam, two sisters, Norine Cooper of Rome, GA; and Judith Shannon of Hagaman, one brother, William Becker of Schenectady, NY; two grandsons, Jason Tatlock (Jennifer) of Amsterdam and Ryan Tatlock (Kara) of Glenville, five great grandchildren, Kylie, Kendall, Kasey Mae, Emery and Ryder Tatlock. Nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Monday morning January 13 at 10:30 at the Riley Mortuary, Inc., 110 Division Street, Amsterdam, NY 12010, followed at 11:00 by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Stanislaus Church, 50 Cornell Street, Amsterdam, with Pastor, Rev. O. Robert DeMartinis officiating.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 10:30 prior to the service at the funeral home.

Interment will take place at St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Amsterdam.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in June’s name may be made to St. Stanislaus Church or Montgomery County SPCA, SPCA Road, P. O. Box 484, Amsterdam, NY 12010.
