Joanne Catherine Fabozzi

Born in Gloversville, NY, on March 11, 1938, she was the daughter of the late John D. and Catherine McGivern Crispin Sr.

Joanne received her education in the Gloversville school system and was a graduate of Gloversville High School. Class of 1955.

Joanne was formerly employed as a bookkeeper and accountant for Fiber Conversion Inc., in Broadalbin and also for Bruce Van Genderen CPA.

Joanne was a member of the Johnstown Reformed Church, where she served on its Consistory; she was a former Sunday School Superintendant and Sunday School Teacher, a member of the women’s group (Calvary Class) and a life membership, PTA.

Joanne was predeceased by her husband, Anthony A. Fabozzi on February 8, 2017. She is survived by one daughter, Karen L. Dutcher (Howard) of Caroga Lake, NY; one son, James R. Fabozzi (Janice) of Johnstown, NY; one sister, Marjorie Gentile (Pat) of Broadalbin, NY; four grandchildren, Catherine Fabozzi, Nicholas Dutcher (Sarah), Courtney Dutcher, Nathan Dutcher, three great grandchildren, Landon Dutcher, Piper Dutcher and Lilia Dutcher. Many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by a brother, John D. Crispin Jr. a sister, Clara Sammarco, and a grandson, Brandon Fabozzi.

Cremation was held at Park View Crematory in Schenectady, NY.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial Service, Saturday June 2, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Johnstown Reformed Church, 351 North Perry Street, Johnstown, NY, with the Rev. R.W. Williams officiating.

Interment will follow at the Broadalbin – Mayfield Rural Cemetery in Broadalbin.
