Irene Sakne

Irene Sakne, 93, formerly of West Charlton, passed away Friday evening May 22, 2015 at the Fulton Center in Gloversville, NY.

Born on May 31, 1921 in Perth, NY, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Victoria Fasiecki Drozinski.

Irene received her education in the Perth school system and was a homemaker.

Her husband, Harry Sakne to whom she married October 10, 1942 died July 7, 1988.

Irene is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 11:00 at the Riley Mortuary, Inc., 110 Division Street, Amsterdam, NY 12010.

Interment will follow at Green Hill Cemetery in Amsterdam.

Friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 prior to the service at the mortuary.
