George Platt

George M. “Nick” Platt Jr., 67, of 16061 SE. 134th Court, Weirsdale, FL; passed away November 10, 2014 at his home.

Born in Amsterdam, NY on October 4, 1947, he was the son of George M. and Lois Sexton Platt.

Nick received his education in the Amsterdam school system

Nick was a proud and honorably discharged veteran, serving with the United States Navy Sea Bee's from 1967 to 1971.

Nick is survived by a son, George M. Platt III, his daughter, Kimberly Platt and his brother, Peter S. Platt.

A memorial service will be held at a later date and time to be announced.
