Elizabeth Jean Masterson

Elizabeth Jean Masterson, 92, of Amsterdam, NY passed away November 2, 2023 at New Paltz Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in New Paltz, NY.

Born in Queens, New York on December 30, 1930, she was the daughter of Claribel Kerry.

Elizabeth received her education in the New York City School system. She retired as a Senior Interviewer for the New York City Housing Authority.

Her husband, Gerald F. Masterson predeceased Elizabeth on May 2, 2001. She is survived by four sons, Michael Daniel Masterson (Phyllis) of Raleigh, NC; Gerald Francis Masterson Jr. (Vivian) of Amsterdam, NY; Edward Paul Masterson (Nina) of Punta Gorda, FL, and Patrick Joseph Masterson (Susan) of Winter Haven, FL; two daughters, Catherine Teresa Rutigliano (Philip) of the Villages, FL; and Victoria Masterson of Amsterdam, NY. Thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren also survive.

Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Riley Mortuary, Inc., 110 Division Street, Amsterdam, NY 12010, Tuesday, November 7, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. with the Very Rev. O. Robert DeMartinis E.V. officiating.
