Daniel Agresta

Daniel J. “Pucky” Agresta, 44, of Arch Street, Amsterdam, NY passed away Thursday morning July 21, 2016 at St. Mary’s Healthcare in Amsterdam.

Born in Amsterdam, NY on August 17, 1971, he is the son of Virginia Phelps Agresta and the late Raymond “Pucky” Agresta Jr.

Danny was a graduate of Amsterdam High School. He was employed as a machinist at Noteworthy Company in Amsterdam.

Danny enjoyed horse racing playing cards, football and the New York Mets.

Danny is also survived by his brother, William Agresta (Kim), two sisters, Gina Barton (LeRoy) of Amsterdam and Ann Marie Agresta (Mark Bockus) of Rochester, NY, three nephews, Jason, Kyle and Joshua Agresta. Aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.

Funeral services will be held Saturday July 23, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at the Riley Mortuary, Inc., 110 Division Street, Amsterdam, NY 12010.

Calling hours are Saturday from 12 to 3 prior to the service at the Riley Mortuary.
Interment will be at Green Hill Cemetery at a later date.

Memorial gifts in Danny’s name may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
